i quit. for real.

i would like to announce that i am taking a break from serious poker, be it online or live. this decision was made after much consideration and how the past 5 months have changed my life. i am currently feeling burnt out grinding 4-5 hours a day from 12-5am or trying to squeeze in 1 or 2 Sit n' Go's or a quick cash game in between classes. With my uni semester exams coming up in two months i felt that it was the best decision that i take a break for quite awhile, and concentrate on my studies, my saturday soccer league and spending more time with my girlfriend and awesome friends here in melbourne.i cashed out my remaining 50bucks and am not looking to deposit anytime soon. its not easy making this decision as i consider poker one of the few things that i excel at and its a game that i really really love. of course i'll still keep in touch with the poker world, but i won't play a serious tourney or cash game except home games with friends to have a laugh. enough is enough and i'm coming clean with my total profits and losses.

total profits: 1.4K
total losses: 1.5K

there goes my dreams of wearing that full tilt poker logo on my shirt or cap everyday.oh well, reality is, i don't think i'll ever make it that big. haha.

bye world of competetive poker, i'll see you in a few months.

P.S
on a more important note, recently i found out that a someone very dear to a few of my friends had passed on, and although i may not know him personally, but i can say i know him enough to feel saddened by it. I am very sure he was a larger than life figure to his friends and family, and that he will be sorely missed by everyone. Andrew Yap, rest in peace, may you find comfort in the arms of the almighty.
